Keep Calm and Carry On was a motivational poster created by the British government in 1939 just before the Second World War. They produced the poster in an attempt to raise the morale of the British public, threatened with the almost inevitable large scale air attacks on major cities. The design has come back into fashion since 2008 and the start of the recession.
